Reaching Karnataka with the love of Christ
Missions has always been an integral part of our church. Karnataka Village Ministry started as a pioneer work of IPC Zion Hall, Lingarajpuram with a vision to save the souls and spread the gospel in the villages of Karnataka under the leadership of Pastor Rajan John in 1999. Initially Pastor Rajan John along with a few members of the church started the mission by going out to the village and the first outstation was established at Sungathkatta. By God’s grace, the work of KVM extended to many villages. To ensure effective administration of the outstations, 7 churches were handed over to the different IPC Centers that were in charge of those areas. Over the last 12 years, several other stations had to be shut down for various reasons. Currently, 19 stations are supported thru KVM and evangelists with a burden for Karnataka’s villages are working in these stations. In response to their hard-work and prayers close to 750 people have been led to the faith and added to the Church. At most of the stations, worship services are conducted in rented houses. Recently, a church building was constructed and dedicated at Hassan. Similarly land for a church building was procured at Nuggehalli and construction for a church building is in progress. KVM is also involved in social and charitable works such as conducting medical camps, sponsoring marriages, providing education support for school going children. Presently, KVM focuses on the districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Chamarajanagar, Kolar & Hassan. The work of KVM is mostly supported by members of IPC Shalom, individuals who were part of the church and now abroad and also by other IPC Churches & organizations who have a burden for the villages of Karnataka. The advancement of the gospel is going forth and KVM has a part in fulfilling the Great Commission. In order to accomplish the purposes for which it was created, KVM needs your prayers and financial support to advance and grow in their ministry outreaches. Please join us by prayerfully considering supporting KVM, so that God's work will flourish in the land of Karnataka.
